A family run business founded in Bedminster, Bristol, The Optima Care Partnership has been providing high quality care since 1985.

Since then, it has expanded over the years to operate in several different locations in the South West. Today, it is proud to provide nursing care homes and integrated services of distinction in local communities.

Optima Care are experts in providing a wide range of care services for young and older people; including mental health, specialist end stage dementia and general nursing care for people with complex or higher nursing needs.

Combining the latest research with innovation, our knowledgeable and committed staff are proud to manage and operate quality regulated activities to those with a wide range of clinical care and support needs.

The Optima Care Partnership is a remarkable family led organisation where leadership is provided by its founder Mr Paul Bliss. Today his sons and company associates ensure positive outcomes are achieved and focused on developing quality services.

Mr Paul T Bliss

Provider; Chairman and Owner

Paul qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1969 and became a Fellow member of the Chartered Certified Accountants in 1974. Operating independently Paul soon created a thriving care business.

Oli Bliss

Managing Director

With a finance background and a knowledge of the Nursing Industry built up over 20 years of involvement in this business, Oli has oversight and manages all operational aspects of our social care services.

Stephen Crisp

Director of Quality & Compliance

Stephen Joined Optima Care in 2016 as Director of Operations to provide leadership and support to the Home Management Teams whilst giving, focus and vision to the ongoing development of the organisation.

Now as compliance director I maintain the company's legal and ethical integrity; ensuring company policy is followed and the organisations behavior reflects our and our regulators rules
